Fantastic Mr. Fox

Wes Anderson's Fantastic Mr. Fox is fun. Nominated for 'Animated Feature Film' and 'Music' and featuring the talents of Kingston University's own Andy Gent it tells the Roald Dahl tale of a cunning fox, his wife and family and their friends as they come under fire (literally) from the local farmers, Boggis, Bunce and Bean.

I had entirely forgotten the plot of the book, so it was nice to be re-introduced to it as an adult, particularly in this way. Stop-motion animation has comes leaps and bounds in the last few years particularly as the rise of modern animating technology has increased so rapidly.

Worth a watch, particularly if you have kids to entertain.
