Investigative Journalism or Graphic Design?? The Eternal Question...

OK,
I checked "Broadcast Freelancer" this morning and found this ad for
"Investigative Journalists"

"Great" I thought, I am in demand, people need me, I am doing the
right thing.
Then a couple minutes ago, I was online and my graphic design sensei
came online and posted exactly the same link to me via the chat
function.
But he doesn't talk to me. Why? Because he thinks I've sold out. He
thinks that I'm a pussy because I've given up graphics in favour of
writing.
Now, on the one hand, I don't care what he thinks, but on the other,
he's my mentor, my hero, so it kind of pisses me off that he's such a
snob.
The graphic at the top of this post is another desktop design for you
to download and stick on your computer if you want. I designed it
myself, and it was inspired by Scott  (支所) 's work at
www.theestateovcreation.co.uk so I hope you like it, and still
continue to talk to me even though I am partly a graphic designer (and
always will be)
Scott, if you're reading this, you could afford to relax a little you
know? I still love you, I just recognise that I will never be as great
as you so I decided to try something else for a while... you total
bastard!
